Our Dentists & Our Team

J. Craig Scasta, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Scasta has a long heritage here in the Brazos Valley dating back to when his great-grandfather came from Czechoslovakia in the late 1800s to settle on the OSR. Dr. Scasta's father was a soil conservationist for the state so the family moved around rural parts of Texas and to Bonham, Texas when he was four.

Dr. Scasta and Dr. Hall

After graduating from Bonham High School in 1988, Dr. Scasta came 'back home' to Texas A&M University and the Brazos Valley. After graduating from Texas A&M in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science, he went on to attend the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. While in his 2nd year, he married his wife, Tracey, who he had met his senior year at A&M. In the years to follow came graduation from dental school, the birth of their 2 children, and life for 2 years in Austin before returning to good old Aggieland in 2003. In 2003, Dr. Scasta joined Dr. Robert Hall's practice which he then bought in 2006.

Dr. Scasta's interests include the integrated fields of TMJ, dental sleep medicine, and occlusion. He has completed over 1000 hours of specialized training in TMJ disorders, orofacial pain, and dental sleep medicine. He completed a mini-residency in Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain at the UCLA Dental School in Los Angeles, California in the summer and fall of 2011. He also completed the mini-residency in Dental Sleep Medicine at UCLA in 2009.

Dr. Scasta loves running, snow skiing, going to Disney World, and following Aggie football.

Robert Hall, DDS

Dr. Robert Hall knew at an early age that he wanted to be a dentist. Growing up in Venezuela he spent many hours tinkering with appliances and models. With these interests, his family dentist suggested dentistry for a career. Upon his return to the United States, Dr. Hall graduated from Allen Military Academy in Bryan and then pursued a degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He then attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas and graduated in 1969.

As an active Army dentist, Dr. Hall spent six years in Belgium and Pennsylvania and then became an Army reservist where he spent the next 28 years serving our country. He retired with the rank of Lt. Colonel from the Army Reserves in 2004.

In 1975, Dr. Hall formally opened his practice to the public in Bryan and was Dr. W. H. Ritchey's associate. Shortly thereafter, the Creekside partnership was formed and in December 1976 the current location was dedicated and opened for business.

Married in October 1970, Dr. Hall and his wife, Judy, have four children: Heather, Steve, Kevin and Allyn. They are proud grandparents to Lauren, Tyler, Nathan and Perri. When Dr. Hall is not making beautiful smiles happen, he enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling, and flying radio-controlled airplanes.
